Make Some Noise
This wasn’t really part of the plan, but since this track is out there we wanted to let you hear it here first, or maybe second. Enjoy

So I may or may not be at this. It’s been a while since I’ve been into the Choking Victim/Leftover Crack scene. I’ve never felt… punk enough? Maybe it’s my predilection towards soap. I’ll still throw No Gods/No Managers in from time to time but I won’t lie, I’ve not really looked into SFH much and after the first record, I kind of fell away from Leftover Crack as well. Regardless, it could very well be a fun show.
Rumor on the street is that Mikey from The Ergs recently joined up on the drums.

Here’s a video of Ted Leo performing the song “I Guess I Planted” and I’m not quite sure who to credit that song to, actually… It’s performed here by Ted Leo. It was performed originally by Billy Bragg & Wilco for the album Mermaid Avenue and all of the songs on that album come from previously unused lyrics written by one of the most legendary American folk singers, Woodie Guthrie.
If you’ve been following current events in Wisconsin, I strongly encourage you to read over Mr. Leo’s statement regarding why he recorded this video over at his blog which you can find by clicking on the latter half of this sentence.
“…just look at the language of the history of the Labor Movement and what we call the ‘Labor Struggle,’ in which everything is described as a ‘fight,’ a ‘battle,’ a ‘STRUGGLE.’”
Gogol Bordello vs. Forro in the Dark. November 4th, 2010 at Mr. Smalls Theater in Pittsburgh.
This was one of those moments where you’re watching a performance and you think to yourself “This is something special that I’ll never see again, so somebody better be fucking filming this.”
Sure enough they were, so here it is. Thanks, YouTube!
